Your first payment is 50% of your rental expenses (rental rate plus cleaning fee) not including taxes.

The final payment is due 45 days prior to arrival.  This includes remaining balance of total rental expenses including taxes (12.75%).

Have questions? We can explain in detail when you book.

How can you pay?

Payment can be made via the following ways:

  •  Check mailed to Cary and Dee Steinert- address will be located on lease.
  •   PayPal- via friends & family- fortduckbeachhouse@gmail.com
  •   Zelle-  fortduckbeachhouse@gmail.com

** We do not currently accept credit cards as there is a processing fee associated with that usage and we want to keep rates as low as possible.  Should you opt to pay with a credit card through PayPal, the processing fee will be added to your final payment.

Security Deposit Policy

Security deposit is $250.

Because we self-manage and are dog-friendly, we require a security deposit.

All security deposits are returned via check within 7 days of check-out, pending no damage. Things happen on vacation, and we are understanding. Please let us know if something happens, so we can better assist you during your stay.

Cancellation policy

All payments made are fully refundable within 180 days of reservation less a $250 cancellation fee (This $250 fee is non-refundable).

If you need to cancel after 180 days we will make every effort to rebook your week at the rate you paid.  If successfully rebooked, you'll receive a refund once rebooking payment is received.

If it rebooks for less than your rate than we only refund the amount of rebooking. Any questions please reach out.  Protect your investment by purchasing travel insurance no matter what your travel dates.

Travel/Trip Insurance- IT IS NOT INCLUDED in your stay

We do a lot of things well- selling trip/travel insurance is not one of them.  And it's not legal as we aren't authorized agents to do so.

If you wish to purchase trip insurance, that is your responsibility as a renter. We can make some recommendations when you book. Keep in mind hurricane season continues to happen every year so if you are renting in Sept or Oct it is a wise decision to purchase.  And for those of you who book in prime season PLEASE purchase as it protects the huge investment you have made to take a vacation.
